Written requests for information and photocopies
If you want to have photocopies and you give us the exact information, such as data, municipality, act- or folionumber, no research costs will be charged. If the records you have asked for nevertheless cannot be found, we have to charge you with the research costs. Extensive requests for research will not be dealt with. You may want to contact a professional genealogist for the job. We’ll be glad to refer you to a professional genealogist, well versed in our sources.

Reproduction of images
It is not allowed to make reproductions of pictures with your personal (digital) camera. You can order your reproductions on www.beeldbankleeuwarden.nl. Reproductions of pictures that are not (yet) available on www.beeldbankleeuwarden.nl, can be made by a photographer ordered by the HCL. A4-size prints will cost € 8,-- and prints of 10x15 cm. will cost € 5,30. The extra costs will amount to € 6,60. If your order has to be sent to you by post, a fee of € 6,80 (abroad: € 10,65) will be charged.
Reproduction of technical drawings
Of small technial drawings, up to A4-size, a photocopy can be made. Of larger drawings, the HCL makes a special print. Ordering time about a week. Express deliverance (within a day) is possible. Extra charge per request € 14,05. extra. Drawings before 1930 are on microfiche. Copies of these microfiches can be made via the reader-printer.
